DESCRIPTION OF INGREDIENTS
Biozyme A2
Biozyme A2 is a multiple digestive enzyme preparation, which
contains amylase, protease and cellulase. It is manufactured by a
unique fermentaion of a strain belonging to the Aspergillus oryzae
and using extraction, purification, and standardization with dextrin
as the diluting agent. The optimum PH for Biozyme A2 is around 5.0
and is very stable at PH of 5.0 ~ 9.0.)
Protease M
Protease M is a new proteolytic enzyme preparation, which is
manufactured by a unique fermentation process of a selected strain
belonging to the Rhizopus niveus. It is a yellowish powder which is
soluble in water and is very stable in the acid range of PH 3.0 ~
6.0. The optimum PH for Protease M is around 4.0
Cellulase APF
Cellulase APF is a digestive enzyme preparation, which contains
cellulolytic enzymes. It is manufactured by a unique fermentation
and standardization with a suitable diluent. Dextrin is usually used
as the diluting agent.
Vitamin B
An alternate name for Vitamin B is Vitamin B1 mononitrate. It is
prepared by removing all the chloride ions from the thiamin HC1 and
used as the enzyme co-factor vitamin.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is an ascorbic acid occurring in the form of white
crystalline powder. It is used as an antimicrobial and antioxidant
in foodstuffs.
Malic Acid
The naturally occurring isomer of Malic acid is the L-form, which is
found in apples and many other fruits and plants.
Calcium Chloride
Calcium chloride is obtained as a by-product of the ammonia-soda
process and as a joint product from natural salt brines. It is used
as an electrolyte replacement.
Green Tea Extract
Green tea extract is the powder from of green tea. It is made from
extracting the leaflets of green tea with hot water then filtered
through the filtrate and concentrated under reduced pressure at a
temperature not exceeding 85oC. Using dextrin as the diluting agent,
the extract is then sprayed to make the powdered product.
Honey
Honey is a saccharine substance, which is obtained from the
honeycomb of Apis mellifera. It is a light yellow to light yellow to
light yellow-brown syrup liquid, and is usually transparent with a
characteristic odor and a sweet taste.
Fructose
Fructose is fruit sugar, which is found in many types of fruits and
honey.
Panax Ginseng Extract
Panax ginseng extract is the fluid extract of Panax ginseng root.
Approximately 90g of ginseng is extracted using hot water, and then
filtered and concentrated to make a 300ml of fluid extract.
Lycium Barbarum Extract
Lycium barbarum extract is the fluid extract of Lycium barbarum
fructus. It is prepared by extracting about 110g of Lycium fructus
with hot water, then filtered and concentrated to make 300ml of
fluid extract. The extract is a brown colored liquid and has a
slightly sweet taste.
Perillae Folium Extract
Perillae folium extract is the fluid extract of perillae folium. It
is prepared by extracting about 110g of Perillae folium with hot
water, then filtered and concentrated to make 300ml of fluid
extract.
